Labor Day Monday
I hope everyone is having a safe and blessed Labor Day weekend!
I asked for strength
and God gave me difficulties to make me strong.
I asked for wisdom
and God gave me problems to solve.
I asked for prosperity
and God gave me brain and brawn to work.
I asked for courage
and God gave me danger to overcome.
I asked for love
and God gave me troubled people to help.
I asked for favors
and God gave me opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted.
I received everything I needed.
My Prayer has been answered.
See everyone tomorrow for the Catechist Session Building Meeting!

Apologies on the long hiatus. I plan on making this a lot more active at least by the summer when we can have many more plans than we’ve had so far.
1. Great work on the stations of the cross. I know it was a last-minute effort. But hey, the show went on and we all put in hard work. High fives!
2. Choir practice will be this Tuesday, 03/09, and not Thursday.
3. I still have pictures from the Confirmation certification that we all went to and made a lasting impression on. Those are to come shortly.
4. I hope to post more volunteer events that maybe we can take part in the future. I’ve recently signed up with volunteer match and will continue looking for ways to expand our participation in the larger community of Los Angeles, and not solely on St. Genevieve. By the work we’ve been doing it’s apparent to me and many others that we are very active in the Church. It’s time to expand.
Have a good night,
Jax
SGYM: For generous photographers and those comfortable creating storyboards, this volunteer opportunity is for you. You could have your work in a gallery in Brentwood this March 21st. Act quickly!
We all did a fine job at the last meeting for the Hope for Africa benefit. Committees have been set. Wheels are set in motion. Lets all continue to contribute to the event accordingly. Next meeting is tentatively Thursday and most likely Friday again, as usual. If any changes occur we’ll try to post them here.We have a meeting after church today.
Head’s up everyone!
